Today at CMS, the 'International Children's Camp' was formally inaugurated.



29 December, Lucknow: The City Montessori School's month-long "Peace Has a 100 Names Village" international children's camp will be formally launched tomorrow, Monday, December 30th, at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The principal guest on this occasion will be Shri Indramani Tripathi from Nagar Ayukta, while the participating children from 13 different nations will introduce themselves and ceremoniously share their interpretations of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam through a variety of educational and cultural performances. It is important to note that CMS will officially launch the International Children's Camp tomorrow, December 30, and will run from December 28 through January 24, 2020. 

Children from 13 countries, including the United States, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, and India, stay together at this international camp. They are getting to know one another's customs, cultures, traditions, way of life, and eating habits while also learning about world peace, unity, and brotherhood. 

CMS arranges for their food, lodging, games, and sports, sightseeing at historical sites, access to medical services, and other needs throughout their month-long stay here. This CISV camp aims to unite kids from different cultural backgrounds on one common ground and foster a rich interchange of ideas to foster lasting friendships, increased global understanding, and world peace.
